Holiday Greetings

Blessings Everyone,

I hope this finds you well.
Mira and I are now at home.... ahhhh feels good!
We have a few more events in December, but for the most part are doing some major chilling out (literally, it's cold here in Philly) spending time with friends and family and taking some rest!!

What a journey this Fall has been....lots of travel, Kirtan and so many amazing opportunities to share Love and connect with such beautiful Souls in communities around the world!
As 2008 winds down, we are looking to an exciting 2009. Already we have planned some amazing events, including: Kirtan College at Kashi Ashram, Canadian Yoga Conferences in Toronto and Vancouver, A retreat at Kripalu, two visits to Yogaville: Satchidananda Ashram, Ecstatic Chant at Omega over Labor Day, A Retreat in Umbria, Italy, and plans in the works for a Japan tour...and of course, a great deal of travel hopefully bringing us somewhere near you! As always, you can go to the events page of my site, for specific dates and details.
...and don't forget, you are all welcome to join us on New Years Eve for Kirtan at the Standard Hotel in Miami Beach!

2008 has been a rich and transformative year. It has been a time of great growth for me personally with lots to celebrate, including my marriage to Mira, a new CD and the election of a new president just to name a few. So, as the holidays arrive, I want to acknowledge my gratitude to all of you who have been part of my life!! I feel, more than ever, that we are all part of a growing movement on the planet to spread compassion, kindness, and to reveal, through action, the dignity of true spiritual freedom. What could be a more rewarding or inspiring reason to be alive. So, thank you all for sharing this vision with us through singing the Divine Names, the exchange of Heart and celebration of Spirit. I am sure that 2009 will bestow many great miracles and blessings upon us all!

Last, in the nature of giving this Holiday Season, let me share with you some worthwhile charities you may consider making donations to as gifts to your loved ones:

www.seva.org
www.peta.org

May your Holiday be Holy Days.
Love Always!!
David

Love, Peace and Freedom - Children's Choir

Mira and I recently had the honor and great joy of attending a performance of my song - Love, Peace and Freedom by the Pearl S. Buck Elementary School Choir. The song was sung and performed in sign language by the 4th and 5th grade choruses on December 10th at Neshaminy High School for their Holiday Choral Concert. It was translated for sign and conducted by chorus director, Marianne Sutin with an instrumental arrangement by Randy Sutin. Here's the youtube link, enjoy this heartwarming video!! David
