Some Exciting News!!

Dear Friends...
Just got back from Saskatchewan, Canada. Mira and I were joined by my nephew Shane, also my God-Son. What fun we had. We were in the city of Saskatoon, which is so beautiful (at least this time of year). Everyone there was so receptive to what we had to offer. The Grace was surely flowing. We topped the weekend off with a visit to the movies to see - "Love Guru" by Mike Meyers...what a perfect and funny way to end our visit. So, now Mira and I are back home and taking a few days to rest before heading to New England to play in New London, CT, Great Barrington, MA and to Kripalu for our four day retreat (these details are on the events page). Well, after that, is some exciting news. On the morning of July 14th, Mira and I will be married by Amma in Washington DC!! For us, this is a perfect way to honor our spiritual union and an opportunity to deepen our dharma together through the love that we share.
That's all for now. Hope you are all well!
Bliss and bless!
David
PS. This is a cool photo of Mira and I walking the path together!

Follow Up to Obama•Rama

This was so cool to see. In Time Magazine there was an article on the candidates "lucky charms".  So, this is a photo of Barack Obama's hands holding his lucky charms...and that's right, look closely, and you will see that he carries a statue of Hanuman with him (click on the photo for a larger image).  Time described the piece as a "tiny monkey God".  Amazing, huh?
Jai Hanuman!!!

OBAMA•RAMA

Jai Sita Ram Everyone ... from Buffalo, NY!
Hope you are all finding joy in life these days!!

Well, I don't usually talk politics in my blogs. However, I have to express my enthusiasm that Barack Obama is the Democratic presidential Nominee. I am so excited to see the tides of our country participate in the raising of consciousness of our planet. We just came from the US border office this week on our way back from Canada, and I must say I look forward to that large photo of George Bush being taken down and replaced by Obama's (my little fantasy as a traveling gypsy. It's just such a warmer way to be welcomed back home). I will be doing what I can to ensure his victory in my own way ... and urge all of you to turn your Yoga into action and do the same. That is, of course, if in fact Obama is your choice. Don't wanna preach :-)

Lastly, I am reading a very cool book that I spontaneously picked up at Borders and since then have seen everywhere. Funny how that works? It's called - 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck.

That's all for now, sending bliss and bless!!!
Love, David
